Before we tell you about our wonderful cottage, we feel it is only fair to give you a note of caution.
Be careful not to spend your hard-earned money on a vacation to Florida, only to discover that your picture-perfect condominium is right in the middle of Jurassic Park. There are many mixed-used high rise condos on the beach---some units are rentals and some are owned full time and the owners use them on a seasonal basis. When the owners have pulled down the shutters and left, or the supply and demand hasn't quite found its footing again, the place looks like a factory town that lost its factory!
Look at the picture (click once to enlarge). That dinosaur is not going to be featured on any travel brochure picture, but would you be happy when you checked in, went rushing down to the beach and turned around to take a look, or to snap a picture to send back home to the jealous friends you left behind?
And really...do you want to wrangle with your other condo dwellers for that parking spot next to the elevator? Do you want to roam the garage, looking for a shopping cart to get your groceries up to your "unit?"
In a condominium you may-if you pay extra-get an ocean view. You are also guaranteed to share at least two of your four walls with your neighbors. That means two things:
1. Less view, and
2. Yes, NOISE--neighbor noise.

Your cottage is silent, constructed of solid block that is virtually soundproof. But open the window ever so slightly and you will hear your neighbors....the whisper of the wind...the hypnotic rhythm of the surf as it rolls ashore just across the sand.
